FPT Supplies the Mojo for Mojo

Mojo is another exemplary example of the Profab 1200 power catamaran out of Profab Engineering of Palmerston North.  The design comes from the drawing board of designer Roger Hill, well known and respected for providing high performance and efficient hull designs paired with well-considered interior layouts.

Profab Engineering are held in a similar high regard for constructing exceptionally well-engineered and quality vessels and Mojo certainly exceeds all expectations in this regard. The 12m design features asymmetrical hulls and on this example, a hydrofoil provides additional lift to reduce drag allowing for greater performance and economy.

She looks sleek and fast, enhanced by a low-profile topside combined with a modern colour scheme that ensures heads turn for a second look even when surrounded by larger flybridge vessels. Stepping onto the teak sole of the cockpit and moving inside, the muted colours and superb interior finishes provides the feeling of luxury & comfort. This is a boat where function and form meet up with style.

As one might expect from a company with “engineering” in its name, the construction and assembly is also exceptional. Below deck, it’s obvious the vessel systems have been well considered, well positioned, and very well executed. From the quality of the hull welding though to the many custom components, you know skilled engineers and tradespeople have executed their craft with pride.

The Profab 1200 is the ideal 12m vessel for those desiring a high performing and stable platform with the ability for both economic long-range passage making well as high speed cruising.

Mojo was fitted with twin FPT N60 400hp common rail diesel engines to further complement these performance goals, and once again the FPT N60 has proven an ideal choice for fuel efficiency, performance, and value.
